THE HEART OF THE MATTER

I love NY logo brown.

Beloved graphic designer, Milton Glazer, created the I HEART NY logo from his studio on East 32nd Street. Although the muse is alleged to have visited him while he was riding in a taxicab on his way to a meeting, his inspiration for the design came from Robert Indiana’s LOVE sculpture, whose four letters are arranged into a square.
